Founded in 1952, we have been in the shirt-making business for more than 70 years. Our factory is located in Okayama, Japan, where there’s a rich history in garment production since the 1600s.
With such a rich history in garment making, our shirts have been challenged, polished, and passed down through the generations, and the knowledge and expertise that we acquired over the years are what make retronym unique.

Every Fabric is handpicked by shirt experts and it is designed and made by a skilled team.

Sustainable Approach
We’ve been in this industry for seventy years, and we’ve watched firsthand the overproduction and waste.
This is why we take the “made-to-order” approach; we make garments one at a time, leaving no excess inventory.
This slower production process reduces harm to the environment and ensures the longevity of the garment we produce.
